THIS ENTIRE POST IS A SPOILER!!!!! IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE CHEETAH GIRLS 2 AND ARE PLANNING ON WATCHING IT, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! lol!!!I was looking online about the Cheetah Girls 2 and seeing how many people watched it...and 7.8 MILLION people tuned on Friday. Beating out HSM (7.7 Mil)! If anyone else watched it, you know it is a great sequel to the great first movie!
It's the end of Junior year for the Cheetahs!! Chanel's mom is taking Chanel to go meet Luke's (Chanel's mom's boyfriend) family in Barcelona. Galleria, Dorinda, and Aquanette try to find a way to go to Barcelona. Well, after wishing upon a star, the wind flips one of magazines about Barcelona to a page about the New Voice's Competiton in Barcelona, an amatuer competiton. They call the people and audition over the phone, and then they get their parents to let them go. So, everyone heads to Barcelona. On their trip, everyone finds something they love. For Dorinda it's a boy, for Chanel it's a new friend named Marisol (Who I will get back to in a minute), and for Aquanette she discovers she has a gift for design. Now, back Marisol; her mom has a plan to try to break up the cheetah girls so Marisol can win the competiton. Even though Marisol doesn't want to, she does it anyway and get's close to Chanel. After awhile, Galleria decides that the best thing for the Cheetah Girls is for Galleria to leave. So, Galleria goes to the train station and is about to leave, when her friends get her to come back. So, when they come back, of course Marisol's mom's plan is ruined. So, she arranges for the Cheetah Girls to get PAID to perform. So, when they get to the place where they are performing, the director comes up to them and says they can no longer compete because, since they got paid at the gig, the are techniqually no longer amatuers, so they are out of the competiton. Well, after making the decision for Chanel to sing with Marisol so the Cheetah Girls can still be represented, the Cheetah girls decide to return the money, which Angel, a guy that seems to be everywhere, and is also Galleria's crush, sees. He tells his Uncle who happens be the director about it, and he says the Cheetah Girls WILL perform. Marisol ends up quitting the competiton, but also ends up singing a verse in spanish with the Cheetah Girls during there performance. Meanwhile, Chanel doesn't warm up to Luke because she's afraid of her mom getting hurt, but by the end of the movie, Chanel apologizes to Luke because she figures out that the only reason he isn't preposing to Chanel's mom is because Chanel doesn't like him. So, he perposes to her mom and then tells Chanel that he will move in with Chanel and her mom so that he doesn't break up the Cheetah Girls, which is one of the main reasons Chanel didn't want Luke to perpose.
This movie was wonderful and one of my favorites!!!! I can also tell that there will be a third movie because
- The Guy that Dorinda likes wants her to dance with him in a competiton in NYC
- There was no wedding
- There was basically no ending, the movie ended during the Cheetah's performance.
